Hal ini terjadi saat Ussy mengunggah foto terbarunya bersama Andhika Pratama dan ketiga anak mereka--dari pernikahannya dengan Andhika, Ussy dikaruniai dua orang anak--. Kemudian foto tersebut langsung dibanjiri komentar, termasuk dengan komentar negatif yang membuat Ussy sakit hati.
"Anak-anakku Amel, Ara, Elea, Sheva, aku akan lakukan apapun buat 4 bidadari ini. Apapun. Tertawalah wahai para pembully anak-anakku. Tersenyumlah sepuasnya. Semoga sakit hatiku terbalaskan apapun jalannya. Amiin YRA," ujar Ussy.
Mengetahui hal tersebut, presenter Ruben Onsu yang juga merupakan teman Ussy dan Andhika, ikut jengkel. Ruben pun mendukung untuk memberi pelajaran kepada para netizen jahat agar mendapatkan efek jera.
"Terkadang netizen ini tidak bisa memilih siapa yang mau dicaci. Kadang dia ketemu artis yang suka sensasi, artis yang suka settingan, terus artis yang enggak gimana-gimana jadi dipukul rata. Kita buat baik disebut pencitraan, enggak buat baik disuruh mencontohkan yang baik. Netizen harus dikasih pelajaran, saya support," ungkap Ruben saat ditemui di kawasan Tendean, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa (4/12).
Ruben juga tidak menyalahkan Ussy yang akhirnya marah lantaran kedua anaknya di-bully di media sosial. Walaupun banyak yang menyalahkan Ussy juga lantaran dianggap tidak bisa menerima kritikan soal anak-anaknya.
"Anak-anak enggak salah apa-apa. Anak kecil salahnya di mana sih? Buat saya mereka harus ada batasnya. Menurut saya apa yang dilakukan Ussy benar banget. Jangan dibilang enggak bisa dikritik, orang elo ngatain anak itu. Jadi, bukan masalah enggak bisa dikritik," lanjut Ruben dengan geram.
Ayah Thalia Putri Onsu ini pun berharap dengan banyaknya kasus netizen yang suka membully di media sosial ataupun melontarkan kalimat-kalimat tidak pantas untuk siapapun--tak hanya artis-- agar bisa lebih bijak lagi dalam bermedia sosial.
"Pergunakan tangan dengan baik. Sekarang sosmed jadi salah satu media, setelah televisi atau YouTube. Kayak kita baca berita online, duduk, baca. Jadi, harus dipergunakan dengan baik. Kalau belum siap gunakan sosmed, mending enggak usah," ujarnya.
Lantas, apakah Ruben kesal melihat netizen yang tak pintar-pintar bermedia sosial?
"Kalau pintar semua udah jadi dokter. Harus berimbang, tapi tidak semua kesalahan orang karena tidak sampai pikirannya. Enggak sampai pikirannya dia itu, karena dia enggak mau belajar. Dan apa yang dilakukan Ussy itu benar, tidak menangkap tangan tanpa surat izin polisi. Tidak hanya artis, yang bukan artis boleh kok melaporkan," tutup Ruben Onsu.
